The HR Specialist will specialize in supporting operations Talent Acquisition process as well as employment office support while ensuring compliance with company policies. This role will involve collaboration with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners to ensure smooth hiring operations and be the first point of contact for hourly team members in the employment office.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide employees and managers with an available point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to HR Business Partners; navigates employees and manager to HR Shared Services when it is the more appropriate resource.
- Support the interview and technical assessment process with hiring managers and HR.
- Act as a point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate records of employee data and recruitment activities.
- Assist with onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and paperwork.
- Provide administrative support for employment-related inquiries and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Support the leave process and partner with the benefits focals/disability team to track key metrics and find opportunities for improvement.
- Handle data entry work requiring face value check and correction.
- Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in related area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant work experience)
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience cleaning, manipulating, and transforming complex datasets from multiple sources using tools such as R, Python, or an equivalent language.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and processes.
- Awareness and/or experience using lean tools in transactional work.
- Experience working with in a manufacturing/operation environment.
- Experience working with labor unions.

Pay and Benefits:
- The base pay range for this position is $75,900- 100,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on May 13th, 2026.
