Responsibilities

• The Planner will assist with the planning, scheduling and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle.  This includes maintaining a variety of schedules, records, and reports pertaining the tracking of materials through the production cycle.
• Assists in executing requisite system transactions needed to support the receipt, storage and transferring of material.
• Assists with the monitoring of inventory levels generating tracking reports and performing data entry as required.
• This position reports to the Material Planning Manager and works collaboratively with many other business functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in operations or materials  
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2 year college degree or 4 year college degree is beneficial
• Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend improvement opportunities
• Must have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Intermediate skills with other Microsoft products is required
• SAP experience is required
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
