We are hiring an ERP Business Analyst – Record to Report (R2R) to help drive our Collins Process & Systems Transformation program.  

The Collins Process & Systems Transformation Program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems and customer related applications. Collins has chosen SAP’s S/4HANA to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the strategic definition and design phase and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.

  

The ERP Business Analyst – Record to Report (R2R) is responsible for successful delivery within each phase of the program:  

  • Blueprint – detailed design for processes, utilizing best practices and maximizing process harmonization opportunities; evaluation of gaps and making scope decisions.  

  • Build – collaborate with an integrated team of external resources and internal team members in the configuration and development of system capabilities.  

  • Testing – support the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts; work alongside business leaders and testers to ensure proper functionality and defect resolution.  

  • Cutover & Hypercare – support successful migration from legacy systems to new environments. Support go-live and the continuation of Collins business’ financial and operational performance.  

  

You are the ideal candidate if you have experience working within an organization that is responsible for driving large scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation, ideally ERP implementation using SAP’s S/4HANA solution.  

** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. **

What YOU will do:

  • Support the end-to-end R2R process areas including, General Ledger (GL) Fixed Assets (FA), Intercompany Accounting, Month-end and Year-end close, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Banking, Treasury, Tax, Controlling, Profit center and cost center accounting, product costing, project systems.

  • Finance Acumen: Strong understanding of finance processes, program management, and government or financial reporting requirements.  Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and process improvements. 

  • Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively.   

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leveraging S/4HANA, enhancing our workstream processes in alignment desired Collins operating model and industry best practices.  

  • Support creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.  

  • Support the evaluation of options for bolt-on applications and make recommendations based on functional requirements, desired Collins operating model, and industry best practices.  

  • Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing.  

  • Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.  

  • Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope of the workstream as part of program.  

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Must be a U.S Citizen or Green Card Holder.

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.

  • Experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities

  • 10+ years’ Finance Acumen: Strong understanding of finance processes including but not limited to: Finance Master Data, Allocations, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury,  G/L, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Period Close & Consolidation, Costing, Project Accounting,

  • 7+ years’ experience in SAP configuration and implementation in the following FI/CO modules – general ledger, treasury, banking, asset accounting, AR, AP, Tax integrations, Intercompany Accounting, profit center accounting, and controlling modules.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
