JOB SUMMARY:
This is a summer internship in our Business Unit department. The Intern will be expected to data mine and review historical data of several processes. This datamining will include the Scrap, Lost Parts, and NCRs (others to be included depending on progress). The Intern will use the data analyzed to build metrics highlighting areas for improvement. The data collected will guide & develop strategic plans for corrective action and preventing future occurrences.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Intern will receive over-all project expectations, introduced to the team, and work station
- Intern will create and maintain a PowerPoint Presentation during the internship
- Weekly meetings or more if necessary providing the status and highlighting skillsets
- Schedule meetings with the necessary departments for collaboration and assistance if necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong Computer skillsets
- Microsoft Office Suite, coding language a plus, Macros, Pivot Tables, Graphs, and Charts
- Critical Thinking/Strong Analytical Skills
- PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Good people and communication skills
- Manufacturing Processes
- Must reside in the United States
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Analytics Data Research major preferred
