In this role, you’ll help test and assemble components used in sophisticated Electronic Warfare simulation systems, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance. Your expertise will directly support cutting-edge manufacturing and engineering programs that make a real-world impact.
What You’ll DoAs an Electronic Technician, you will support manufacturing test operations and perform a variety of technical duties, including:
- Testing electronic products and components used in advanced simulation systems
- Performing assembly tasks to support workflow and production schedules
- Troubleshooting analog, digital, RF, video, and electro-mechanical systems
- Working from schematics, diagrams, layouts, written instructions, and verbal guidance
- Conducting routine operational tests and fault isolation to component level
- Diagnosing malfunctions and ensuring systems meet design specifications
- Building prototypes and supporting developmental engineering activities
- Collecting test data and documenting results accurately
- Using diagnostic and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, VOMs, DVMs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
- Supporting engineering teams with testing, modifications, and product validation
What You BringRequired Qualifications- 4 years of relevant experience; or
- Associate’s degree in an electronic field plus 2 years of related experience; or
- 2 years of U.S. military electronic schooling plus 2 years of related experience
- Experience testing and troubleshooting RF and digital equipment
- Experience using test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers
- Strong manual dexterity with the ability to assemble and handle small parts
Preferred Qualifications- Experience reading and working from drawings, wire lists, source control drawings, or test procedures
- Hands-on experience with microelectronics and tuning under a microscope
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams
- Soldering and electronic assembly experience
- Knowledge of defense electronics, especially Electronic Warfare systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a performance-driven, metrics-focused environment
