What are your contributions to the team?
- Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, and regulatory authorities to ensure that products meet national and international certification requirements while supporting established objectives and timelines.
- Lead all phases of project certification: establish the certification basis, agree on the means of compliance and authority involvement, demonstrate and document compliance, and certify the design.
- Provide regulatory and airworthiness process guidance to engineering teams, management, and production teams.
- Follow defined safety processes to form teams that will assess, contain, and correct potential product failures, while representing Bombardier in interactions with regulatory authorities.
- Continuously assess risks associated with your projects and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Prepare and present governance or action follow up for these projects to various audiences and levels of management.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and have 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering project management, design, or airworthiness.
- You have well‑developed project engineering skills and a strong understanding of aircraft systems and operations.
- You have experience in the aerospace industry and in dealings with government authorities / certification regulations. Experience with SMS and/or design approval (changes) is considered an asset.
- You are comfortable working in multidisciplinary and cross‑functional teams and have experience doing so.
- You are well organized, self‑driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- You possess strong relationship‑building skills and excellent interpersonal and social abilities.
- You are an excellent communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences (technical, management, regulatory authorities), both verbally and in writing.
- You have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and research skills. Experience with VBA is an asset.
- You must be fluent in written and spoken French and English.
The base salary range for this position is estimated between CAD 92,601 and CAD 122,000 per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
