As a Project Manager II, you are responsible for managing a project of moderate visibility and complexity. This role can be leveraged in a Control Account Manager capacity on a larger program with many deliverables or be inward facing or assigned to a more complex internal program. Under the general supervision of either a portfolio manager or a program manager, this position oversees multiple projects or one larger project. You are responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project. The position may communicate with a senior project manager, functional area manager, or program manager regarding the status of specific projects. You will develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables; identify needed resources for projects; and interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope, definition, design, execution, delivery, and project closeout. You will track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepare reports to stakeholders. The Project Manager will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent.
