Seat Structures Engineer (Mid-Level) (m/f/d)
In our Commercial Modifications team, we are proud to operate under our EASA Part21J Design Organization Approval with a clear mission: to become the number one customer choice for aircraft retrofit solutions in the commercial aviation spanet. Our international team, with strong presences in Hamburg and Munich, specializes in interior retrofit projects, ranging from halon fire extinguisher replacements to full cabin tube strips.

What you bring to the table:
Basic qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of related work experience in aerospace engineering, including stress analysis, supplier integration, and understanding of the EASA Part 21J certification process.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience: You have a good understanding of EASA regulatory and applicable airworthiness requirements, including CS-25.561 and CS-25.562 and their associated ACs and AMCs. Experience in seat development and certification covering concept definition through approval, including test witnessing, familiarity with ETSO performance standards (i.e.: C127, C39 series), and working knowledge of STC processes for aircraft seats.
Tools: Proficiency with key engineering tools: ENOVIA, Catia V5/V6, Altair HyperWorks, PATRAN / NASTRAN.
Personality: A principled, reliable professional who values integrity, safety, and accountability, always striving for the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct. Inclusive and collaborative by nature, you communicate transparently, respect diverse perspectives and take ownership to drive results the right way.
