Integration Engineer
Location: Warton, Lancashire (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Rate: 42.68 Umbrella
We seek an engineer who has worked in a military / defence environment / industry within the last 12 months or who is capable of obtaining security clearance (SC level minimum)
Role Overview
We are seeking Integration Engineers to support a major Combat Air Programme. The role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, spanning requirements, design, integration, validation, and technical management activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Support technical integration activities across multiple work packages and projects.
• Lead or assist in delivering engineering solutions to cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Develop schedules, track progress, and report on risks and issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
• Support integration, verification, and validation across the engineering lifecycle.
Essential Skills
• Proven experience in systems or integration engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills
• Knowledge of engineering processes and standards.
• Familiarity with aircraft or defence development lifecycles.
• Ability to resolve conflicts between systems, disciplines, and capabilities.
