Systems Engineer Architecture
Location: Barrow, 3 Consecutive days on site per month
Rate: 78.33 p/h Umbrella or 58 p/h PAYE

Duration: 12 Months

Key Accountabilities and Deliverables
• Capture and agreed technical requirements in accordance with company and programme processes
• Deliver compliant technical solutions against contractual requirements and regulations
• Deliver design documentation generated, captured, configured, and controlled in accordance with company processes
• Deliver design change requirements and documentation generated, captured, configured, and controlled in accordance with company processes
• Provide engineering LCM adherence for all deliverables, Subcontract Design Reviews, and relevant input to project LCM activities.
• Provide engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) adherence for all deliverables, Subcontract Design Reviews, and relevant input to project LCM activities.
• Provide specialist technical input, review, and support into projects beyond immediate scope as an independent thereof
• Leverage systems experience and knowledge in both the tactical and strategic development of other engineers and relevant members of other supporting functions

Key Skillset
Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering:
• Ability to use MBSE tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Cameo, Rhapsody
• Ability to use requirements management tools such as DOORS
• Ability to apply architecture frameworks such as NAF, MODAF, UAF or TOGAF
• Ability to conduct architecture modelling using ArchiMate or SysML

Additional information
Due to the sensitive nature of the product all applicants must have worked within the Defence / Military industry within the last 12 months or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance (SC level minimum). SC clearance must be in place before the successful candidate can start.
