Youll be developing complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools. As a cross-functional engineer, you are in charge of system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Environmental qualification requirements allocation to individual equipment
Evaluation of qualification artifacts against equipment qualification requirements, including initial qualification gap assessments (assessment of existing data) and final evaluation of program artifacts developed for SAOC
Preparation of templates for qualification plans, procedures, and reports for use by IPTs and subcontractors
Coordination with and support of IPTs and subcontractors to ensure qualification requirements are understood and qualification plans are developed and successfully executed
Qualifications You Must Have:
Familiarity with FAA certification process
Exposure to equipment environmental qualification methods
Familiarity with civil and military standards, such as RTCA/DO-160G, MIL-STD-810H, and MIL-STD-461G
Good communication and coordination skills
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience performing qualification testing
Experience preparing test plans, procedures, and reports
FAA certification experience
Exposure to Commercial Derivative Aircraft (CDA) programs
Experience with database tools
Experience in a specialized field related to qualification, such as mechanical systems, electrical systems, structural dynamics, or electromagnetic effects
