Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Analyze, develop and propose business cases for material flow improvements to Branch Manager based in expertise knowledge of warehouse design, warehouse technology solutions, storage, picking and slotting methodologies
- Actively look for material flow innovation and continuous improvements within designated Branch location and across warehouse Network
- Conduct return on investment (ROI) analysis for procurement of tools & equipment resources, conduct time studies on logistics processes to calculate processing time, aiding in development of KPI and resources capacity planning
- Review standard process deviations for local requirements in close cooperation with Branch Manager, logistics & MRO process managers
* All other duties as assigned by management

Requirements
Step into the role of an Warehouse Engineer, check the requirements below:
- Bachelor’s degree in (Industrial) engineering or similar knowledge and skills required
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse engineering, or production facilities with exposure to lean principles and process improvement projects required
- Fluency in English language required
- Industrial engineering or other technical expertise in material flow layout design, lean methods, and project management required
- Ability to complete courses up to and including “Lean Facilitator 2” at the LHT Lean Academy desirable
- Ability to learn Visio
- Willingness to travel
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Lift up to 70 lbs
- Noise pollution
- Must be willing to work shifts
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
