PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST – POWER THE FUTURE OF AVIATION SUPPLY CHAIN EXCELLENCE

As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring materials, components, and supplier commitments are aligned to support high-performance aviation manufacturing and delivery. ROLE SUMMARY & IMPACTIn this entry-level procurement role, you will support end-to-end purchasing activities that directly impact production schedules and supply chain efficiency. You’ll collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of critical parts and materials. Your attention to detail and proactive communication will help maintain continuity in a fast-paced aerospace environment where precision and reliability matter.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Create and manage purchase orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Obtain and track supplier commitments to ensure on-time delivery
- Monitor deliveries and proactively expedite late or at-risk orders
- Update PO delivery dates and maintain accurate system records
- Document detailed notes in SAP, Pelico, and other business systems
- Participate in supplier and internal operations meetings as needed
- Support supply chain and procurement initiatives as assigned
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply issues quickly and effectively
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Supply Chain, or related field)
- 0–1 years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work on-site in Chula Vista, CA Monday–Thursday with remote Fridays
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting to change
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $34.58 per hour
