Job Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Haverhill is a world-class manufacturer of precision machined aerospace components. We have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Expeditor. The primary responsibility of a Materials Expeditor is to work as part of the Production Control Team to manage daily production schedules and oversee the execution of the production plan to achieve business goals.

Essential Responsibilities

• Expedite movement of material and parts between production areas according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities.
• Works closely with manufacturing/operations and planning.
• Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas, manually or using a cart
• Understand the requirements for the daily dispatch lists. 
• Work with OV buyer to know when materials and parts are being returned in a timely manner

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma and 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing/Production environment
• APICS Certification a plus.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred.
• Proficient in Word/Excel
• attention to detail, must be focused, extremely well organized
• Ability to multi-task
• High energy level, and sense of urgency
