Icelandair is looking to hire motivated and knowledgeable individual who can become the force for quality and safety adherence inside Airport Operations - Hub Aircraft Services.
We are looking for a strong candidate to join an exciting role in a great working environment where safety, reliability, and high-quality standards are the key principles.
Hub Aircraft Services office is located at Keflavik Airport in a multinational workplace with over 300 employees.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation and development of the Quality and Safety Management System
- Respond, investigate, and track trends within the Safety Management System
- Ensure quality processes are designed, implemented, and maintained
- Communicate with Management, Safety Office and authorities
- Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and standards that lead to changes in the safety system
- Review procedures and continuously improve to enhance efficiency and safety
- Oversee and monitor projects and risk assessments related to quality and safety
- Manage and develop Safety Performance Indicators
- Perform other related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Education or experience in aircraft maintenance or ramp activities is a must
- Professional knowledge and experience with quality and safety systems are a plus
- Minimum of three years of experience in related roles
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate information effectively
- Excellent proficiency written/spoken English is a must and Icelandic knowledge is a plus
