Definition: This is not a technical aircraft laborer. Incumbents at this level are non- certificated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and, under the direction of a certificated technician, will clean aircraft and parts, assist in aircraft maintenance, and work in the shop.
Minimum Qualifications: Possession of the following certificates: High School Diploma or GED and a valid Class-C Driver’s License.
Knowledge and Abilities: Basic maintenance procedures and shop safety. Work in a shop environment, follow instructions, manipulate hand and power tools, operate forklift and tow tugs, and work cooperatively with others. This position may be assigned other duties and tasks in the program as directed.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $37.22 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include [geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.]
