Aircraft Mechanic

Job Description:

This position involves performing maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations on aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and safety. The role requires a strong understanding of aircraft systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues effectively.

This is a first shift position. Work hours are 7:00 - 3:30 Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on King Air & Citation Series Aircraft.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system malfunctions.
Remove and replace defective parts and components.
Disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble, and install aircraft systems and components.
Ensure all work is performed according to established procedures and regulations.
Maintain accurate and complete maintenance records.
Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
Communicate effectively with other mechanics, supervisors, and inspectors.

Qualifications:

Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
Experience with troubleshooting and repair procedures.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., FARs).

Preferred Qualifications:

5-7 years' experience on the Textron King Air and/or Citation Series Aircraft.
Familiarity with Part 135 of Part 91 Operations.
OEM or factory training on King Air or Citation aircraft is a plus.
