Summary:
Perform electronic and mechanical production assembly operations on assemblies and subassemblies including modules, boards, panels, frames, drawers, and cable systems.
Assemble, disassemble, rework, modify, and test production and prototype assemblies according to engineering specifications and manufacturing procedures.
Interpret diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings to complete layouts and assembly tasks accurately.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and related equipment to support manufacturing and assembly operations.
Conduct continuity checks, inspections, and functional testing on work-in-process and completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance.
Support prototype and experimental builds under simulated operating conditions for validation and testing activities.
Requirements:
Experience with electronic and/or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Experience assembling and troubleshooting modules, panels, boards, frames, cables, and related subassemblies.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fabrication equipment.
Experience performing continuity checks, testing, and quality inspections.
Ability to disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies to specification.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
