Sheet Metal Fabrication Tech III - Indianapolis, IN
POSITION SUMMARY:
Back shop environment. Must have sheet metal fabrication experience.
Must be able to fabricate aircraft components such as brackets, plates, hinges, doublers and more in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.
Must be able to layout, align and fabricate parts using appropriate tooling (jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners) and perform complex assembly and fitting of parts, drilling holes, riveting, and aligning and assembling parts for riveting.
Use a variety of sheet metal working tools, techniques, and materials to fabricate complex parts and subassemblies for completion of VIP aircraft. Must be able to interpret material specs and engineering drawings to ensure fabricated parts meet the design spec, quality standards and customer expectations.
Tools are required.
