How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable FOS - Safety Management System (SMS) to join our team. This position will provide subject matter expertise concerning Safety Management Systems and safety programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SMS policy and procedures and will be responsible for additional duties related to Safety and SMS as assigned.This is a part-time, remote position.Some travel may be required. Key Responsibilities:Provide expert guidance and support on Airport SMS.Develop, implement, and maintain SMS policies and procedures.Conduct safety audits and assessments to ensure compliance with SMS standards.Lead Safety Risk Management/Assessment activities.Monitor and analyze safety performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Prepare and present reports on SMS activities and findings.Assist in the development and delivery of SMS training programs.Perform additional duties related to Safety and SMS as assigned.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.Demonstrated experience in leading Safety Management Systems and safety programs.Solid knowledge of SMS regulations, policies, and procedures.Proven experience analyzing and interpreting safety related data.Strong problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in using SMS-related software and tools.Minimum 2 years of experience in SMS policy and procedures.
