Job Purpose:
The incumbent ensures efficient demand forecasting, inventory strategies, and cross‑functional coordination. They leverage automation and technology to improve planning accuracy, optimize stock levels, and guarantee timely product availability.
Core Responsibilities:
Demand Planning (40–50)
Own end‑to‑end forecasting, converting operational inputs into demand plans.
Balance service levels with inventory control, minimizing wastage and costs.
Automation (20–30)
Drive adoption of planning tools for forecasting, visibility, and exception management.
Implement system enhancements to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
Cross‑Functional Coordination (10–20)
Collaborate with Product, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Technology teams.
Resolve demand–supply gaps through data‑driven actions.
Stakeholder Management (10–20)
Act as the single point of accountability for demand and inventory insights.
Communicate risks, trade‑offs, and mitigation plans proactively.

Positive 360° stakeholder feedback indicating trusted partnership
Key Interfaces:
Internal: Network Planning, Commercial F&B Operations, Menu Development, Product Quality, Service Design, Evangelists
Cross‑Functional: Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse & Logistics, Finance, Digital & Technology, Flight Safety, Senior Leadership
External: F&B partners, logistics providers, suppliers, OEMs, tool vendors, regulatory and audit bodies
Education & Experience Requirements:
Education: Graduate with relevant experience or MBA in Supply Chain/Operations, Analytics, or Strategy. Certifications (APICS CPIM/CSCP, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics) are advantageous.
Experience:
Minimum: 5–7 years in supply chain management, preferably in complex, multi‑location operations (airlines, hospitality, retail, e‑commerce). Exposure to planning systems and cross‑functional decision‑making.
Desired: 7–10+ years in demand planning/supply chain roles within airline, aviation catering, or large‑scale F&B operations. Proven expertise in system‑enabled planning, automation, and process transformation.
