Collins Aerospace is looking for experienced Supply Chain Manager to join its Interior Products Oxygen team. You will be SC site lead, being responsible for managing relationships with suppliers and executing supply chain strategies to achieve business goals. You will support company’s growth by coordinating with internal functions as well as working with suppliers from around the world. Work location is Collins’ facility in Lubeck.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead of supply chain team (tactical & strategic), being responsible for executing standard work as well as Company’s processes and procedures
- Developing skillset of the team & driving for success
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with suppliers
- Effectively communicate with all levels within suppliers & Collins
- Actively manage supply chain-related program risk, evaluate supplier performance, propose and initiate corrective actions
- Provide periodic customer, functional and business leadership on status and issues affecting contract performance, cost and program risk
- Review and evaluate supplier proposals, perform fact-finding and manage cost and pricing analysis
- Develop supplier negotiation strategies and lead negotiations
- Work in cross functional teams
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10-years of prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7-years’ experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 14-years of relevant experience is required.
- Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science) a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills – credibility, influencing, presentation, negotiating.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong strategic vision to develop long term category and supplier strategies
- Experience and knowledge of SIOP process a plus
- Experience and knowledge of Supply Management (Product or Indirect), Administration / Commerce, Legal, Purchasing, Business, Engineering a plus.
- Proven experience in project management, execution of major projects and customer focus/relationship management a plus.
