Mission of the Role
In collaboration with the Treasury Director, the Treasury Manager is responsible for the operational management of treasury activities, payment oversight, foreign currency availability, and the accuracy of bank reconciliations, while supporting the implementation of the new Treasury Management System (TMS).
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of the Treasury Management System (TMS), including project follow‑ups, team training and maintaining operations during the transition.
- Plan and distribute tasks within the team, promote knowledge sharing and ensure operational redundancy.
- Support change management, optimize processes and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervise and approve payments, ensure the availability of foreign currency funds and coordinate their purchase.
- Ensure compliance with daily limits and communicate any exceptions to the relevant stakeholders.
- Act as an operational liaison between the payables team and the treasury team to maintain ongoing information flow.
- Ensure the accuracy and updating of bank reconciliations, outstanding deposits and credit card sales reconciliations.
- Manage transaction exceptions and ensure appropriate follow-ups with the concerned teams.
- Perform or supervise month‑end journal entries (deposits, accounts receivable, outstanding cheques, credit card fees).
- Coordinate required follow-ups with internal and external audit teams.
