Location: Danville, KY Payrate: $42 - $44/hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the industrial automation industry to identify a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer who can elevate manufacturing performance, solve complex supply chain challenges, and lead high-impact engineering initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical depth with leadership capability to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Role Overview
As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing operations and advancing automation strategies. You’ll collaborate across engineering, operations, and customer teams to solve complex problems, improve processes, and ensure products meet rigorous specifications. Your work will directly influence operational excellence and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and optimization of fabrication and assembly processes
Drive capital equipment acquisition and support automation and digital factory initiatives
Identify, plan, and execute strategic manufacturing and productivity improvement projects
Interpret and apply product specifications to ensure manufacturing accuracy and compliance
Review quality output, identify gaps, and coach teams on continuous improvement
Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to align priorities and deliver results
Oversee project planning, execution, and resource allocation in a dynamic environment
Support factory optimization and organic growth through productivity-focused initiatives
Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to manufacturing challenges
Manage competing priorities while ensuring on-time and high-quality project delivery
Travel up to 20 as needed to support projects and collaboration
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial, advanced, or manufacturing engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of manufacturing standards, specifications, and best practices
Experience with automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 initiatives
Proficiency with computer systems and engineering tools
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and focus on critical details
Experience applying engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
Background in lean manufacturing, process mapping, or value stream mapping
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
Proven leadership skills with experience coaching teams and driving results

Pay Details: $42.00 to $44.00 per hour
