STS Technical Services is hiring Traveling Field Service Representatives to join a skilled team supporting the U.S. military. This is your chance to get hands-on with next-gen military vehicles and systems while delivering essential training and repair support to defense personnel. Position Summary:
Field Service Representatives (FSRs) serve as the bridge between defense technology and battlefield readiness. After completing internal training, you’ll be responsible for OPNET / FLMNET instruction and maintenance support for military wheeled vehicles. You’ll provide expert diagnostics, deliver onsite repairs, and train operators and maintainers at military installations across the globe. The other 25 to 50 of your time will be spent supporting operations locally near Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth field support, diagnostics, and maintenance for military vehicle systems
- Travel domestically and internationally to support U.S. military bases and field operations
- Conduct OPNET / FLMNET vehicle systems training for military personnel
- Execute maintenance, repair, and retrofit efforts on a variety of light and heavy military vehicles
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on JLTV, FMTV, HEMTT, and similar platforms
- Coordinate with parts and service teams to resolve issues efficiently and accurately
- Assist with defense warranty support and field issue documentation
- Deliver training and best practices to operators and maintainers
- Support mission readiness with pre- and post-operation assessments
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active Class A or Class B CDL license
- 5+ years of mechanical experience with wheeled military vehicles (light or heavy)
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75 of the time worldwide
- Ability to obtain a NACI-level security clearance
- Active U.S. passport valid for at least 5 more years
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
Preferred:
- 5–10 years of hands-on mechanical experience with military vehicles
- Experience with platforms such as JLTV, FMTV, FHTV, HETT, HEMTT
- Degree or certification in vehicle service repair, diesel technology, or heavy equipment
