Tasks
As the People Business Partner, you will take on a diverse set of responsibilities, such as:
- Serve as the key People Business partner for both Calgary and Montreal, ensuring consistent implementation of policies, programs, and employee relations practices
- Support regional growth
- Lead recruitment & development efforts
- Manage employee onboarding
- Implement programs and policies
- Partner with Health & Safety
- Guarantee that programs, policies, and communications comply with provincial legislation and that content is provided in French as required
- Foster a Unified Culture
- Boost Cultural Morale & Wellness
- Prepare and deliver presentations, communications, and workshops to support leadership teams, employee engagement, and program rollouts
- General HR support
* All other duties assigned or required

Requirements
To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field; 5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience in a multi-site environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 4 years of relevant professional senior HR Consultancy experience in Canada required
- Regional experience desired
- Experience in dealing with Senior Management on VP level and above required
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) required
- Strong understanding of Alberta and Quebec employment legislation, including compliance requirements
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Skype for Business as expert
- Willingness to travel (25 of the year)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Manage high stress levels
- Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
