Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring all final inspected hose meets customer requirements, conforms to specifications established by Parker and industry standards.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Verify proper specifications for hose.2. Roll poles onto track & push into Input Ferris.3. Ensure heads on wrapper on centered.4. Install proper tape specifications.5. Ensure proper tension is set on tape brand supplies or the applicator.6. Detect any defects on hose.7. Prepare and complete necessary paperwork.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/ NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures in a manner that eliminates risk to health and the environment. Notify leadership of unsafe conditions or practices unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to leadership immediately.2. Prevent excess waste of product and/or components by operating the equipment in an efficient manner.3. Maintain production schedules.4. Participate in peer-based teams (i.e., Natural High Performance Teams), and work with groups to initiate and implement programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S.5. Other duties may be assigned later.
Qualifications
Education preferred: High School diploma or GEDExperience: Production work preferred but not required

1. Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills2. Basic knowledge and use of hand tools3. Sound decision making skills4. Good math, reading, writing skills5. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude6. Mental and visual acuity for production of quality product7. Strong trouble shooting skills
Skills/Competencies:
1. Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office package2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
