As a SB Production Monitoring Associate, you will play an important role within a dynamic transnational environment. Securing Airbus commitments to global airlines by driving the efficient and on-time delivery of Service Bulletins (SBs).
Responsibilities
Production Assignment & Planning
Work Order Management: Support the assignment of the SB work orders to our worldwide production centers (Airbus and Subcontractors), optimizing arrangements based on complexity, priority, target dates, and financial goals
Planning Commitment: Commit to the full SB draft planning, covering the authoring and control phases
Performance Monitoring & Risk Mitigation
Progress Review: Regularly review the progress of all SBs within your scope with production centers. Challenge resources and target dates to guarantee On-Time Delivery
Issue Resolution: Act as an arbiter between conflicting priorities and take proactive initiative to solve issues that arise during the authoring phase
Risk & Opportunity: Perform rigorous risk and opportunity analysis within your perimeter, raising and tracking mitigation actions for potential blocking points.
Stakeholder Communication & Subcontracting
Reporting & Escalation: Provide clear, timely reporting to all stakeholders on SB status and launch the formal escalation process when required
Facilitation: Support and facilitate communication between SB Designers and technical teams (daily calls/emails) to resolve production-related issues
Supplier Relationship: Cultivate high-value partnerships with subcontractors to understand their strengths and weaknesses, fostering a productive partnership.
Qualification & Skills:
B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering
Experience: 1 to 3 years in Project Management / Production Planning Activities for Aerospace Projects
Strong project management capabilities, ensuring delivery timelines and quality standards
Experience in subcontracting follow-up and supplier performance management
Experience in Airbus Retrofit activities/Technical Publications is an advantage
Highly proactive with strong organizational and assertive communication skills
Familiarity with Quality principles and processes is a distinct advantage
Full professional proficiency in English.
