The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Group Sales Representative supporting our WestJet Vacations brand to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Group Sales Representative, you are responsible for generating customer loyalty through excellence in customer service, efficiency, expertise, product knowledge and account management. You will manage group bookings end to end, ensuring accuracy, revenue maximization and customer satisfaction. The position reports to the Director, Group Sales, and will be located in Toronto, ON.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver outstanding service to all customer types to foster loyalty and generate new sales.
- Provide product recommendations, quotes, and follow-ups.
- Proactively upsell and cross-sell using promotional materials.
- Conduct weekly sales calls and respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
- Monitor pricing competitiveness and escalate discrepancies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key and potential accounts.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Send personalized spaneting communications and track group booking progress.
- Create and manage group bookings in internal systems.
- Verify rates, issue contracts/invoices, and handle modifications.
- Coordinate with internal departments for inventory and service needs.
- Finalize rooming lists, reconcile concessions, and issue travel documents.
- Stay current with company policies, procedures, and product offerings.
- Attend training sessions and complete required courses.
- Maintain organized reference materials for quick access.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- A minimum of 3 years of work-related experience
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Must possess excellent administration skills and PC Skills (MS Office, Excel, PPT, etc.)
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- TICO Certification required
- Experience with TTS and Sabre is an asset
- Must be very organized, with a strong ability to multitask and work well under pressure while maintaining professional communications in all settings.
