We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to be part of our Qatar Airways Holidays Team as a Retail Sales Officer in Doha
The ideal candidate will have an existing portfolio of clients and a proven track record in luxury travel sales. This is a unique opportunity to build upon your relationships and grow new business by targeting diverse new client groups within the region, to expand our leisure travel sales. In this role, you will be responsible for providing and sustaining 5-star standards in customer service and to achieve Sales & Revenue targets by providing a concierge holiday consultation and service through the team of holiday consultants.
Your role will be based in the Qatar Airways Retail Store specializing in tailor-made luxury travel solutions for high-net-worth clients. Our mission is to deliver exceptional, bespoke travel experiences that exceed expectations.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Manage and nurture an exclusive portfolio of VIP clients, providing personalized travel planning and concierge service.
- Proactively generate new business by identifying and targeting niche spanet segments.
- Develop tailored leisure travel proposals that meet the specific needs and aspirations of clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers to enhance the overall travel experience.
- Collaborate with the sales and spaneting teams to support targeted campaigns and promotions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that reflects the premium nature of our clientele.
- Ensure all booking requests – walk-ins, telephone and e-mails – are handled within the agreed time frame as per QR Holidays Service Level Agreement.
- Monitor Amadeus queues and assign to staff on duty.
- Be first point of contact between QR Holidays and Finance to provide the requested documents or any other enquiries to enable Finance to finalize payments, refunds, etc.
- Responsible for cash handling and daily sales reconciliation, comparing the records and making sure that the details are correct.
- Check and ensure all documentation provided to customers is accurate and a reflection of actual confirmation received.
- Ensure all payments are received before documentations and reporting of transactions is completed as per the SLA.
- Provide solutions for all customer service scenarios, including customer complaints as per procedures.
- Liaise with operators and hoteliers in case of issues/customer complaints.
