Let your career take flight by joining our diverse and vibrant team at the leading edge of passenger aviation.The Sales Account Executive will ensure continuity and reinforce Air Canadas commercial presence in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, with extended support in the Italian-speaking region. The role supports the Country Regional Manager in all commercial and strategic sales initiatives, helping to sustain and grow spanet share, optimize revenue, and strengthen customer relationships.The position is responsible for the implementation of Air Canada’s sales strategy in alignment with regional and global objectives. It will focus on consolidating existing business, expanding new opportunities, and ensuring seamless cooperation with partners and internal teams.
Responsibilities:Develop and implement action plans to achieve revenue and spanet share objectives in the German-speaking region.Manage and grow a portfolio of leisure and corporate accounts through proactive relationship-building and tailored commercial solutions.Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts that align with company goals.Monitor account performance and spanet trends; identify growth opportunities and take corrective actions when needed.Collaborate with Air Canada’s Joint Venture (AJV) partners to deliver coordinated and high-impact sales efforts.Represent Air Canada at industry events, trade fairs, and client workshops to elevate brand visibility and engagement.Contribute to spaneting and promotional campaigns and corporate events across both Swiss German and Swiss Italian-speaking spanets.Provide regular reporting on sales activities, spanet intelligence, and competitive insights.Actual duties and responsibilities may include any or all of the functional duties & responsibilities listed above plus any other related tasks as assigned by the employee’s superior.
QualificationsProven experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the airline, travel, or hospitality industry.Deep understanding of the Swiss outgoing travel spanet, with a strong network in the German-speaking region.Technologically savvy with a solid understanding of GDS, NDC, and digital sales tools.
