Job Purpose

- Handle all Hungarian group enquiries ensuring quotations are actioned promptly and efficiently to ensure maximization of sales.
- Work with Hungarian sales team in order to secure group business.
- Build group requests through the Emirates’s Group booking application, create group contracts and monitor group movements through their life cycle to include modification of blocks, checking deposit and cancellation deadlines are met and ensuring full application of all Emirates procedures and guidelines.
- Book special services e.g. STPC, meals, extra water and group check in and any other special services which may be required dependent on individual group needs.
- Maintain records of all groups before and after departure ensuring a monthly report is completed by the department.
- Co-ordinate with internal departments i.e. Airports, Reservations Services and Accounts whilst maintaining and building a strong relationship with Yield management and the Groups’ team in Dubai.
- Must be able to manage change and priorities of tasks dependent on department requirements.
- At all times undertake activities in a manner which protects the Emirates Group image, revenue stream and increase sales opportunities.
- Push Business Rewards and Skywards registrations for all Group travelers
- Pro-active contacts with potential clients for “incentive groups” (such as Sport Associations, Music/Dance groups, financial institutions, insurance companies etc.)
Qualification- Educated up to ‘O’ Level Standard or equivalent.
- Knowledge of fares, ticketing and the Emirates product is essential.
- Proficient in MS Office and Emirates reservations systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both in writing and orally.
- An appreciation of customer service for internal as well as external customers.
- Ability to plan and organize a varied workload and produce error free output.
- Fluent spoken and written Hungarian and English.
